Keeping Our Promise

Piedmont Delivery Service is fortunate to not only have a fleet of vehicles, but also a new state of the art transport van for large parts and motors. Gilman Specialty Products in Blackshear, Georgia recently called needing a large motor delivered on a Saturday morning by 7:00am. Gilman Specialty Products is one of the most automated secondary wood processing factories in North America, so large motors play a big part in their daily operation. Our driver at Piedmont Delivery Service not only picked up the motor, but drove to Georgia, spent the night at a hotel there so he could deliver the motor on time at 7:00am. Steven Baxley, the plant manager at Gilman Specialty Products, was very pleased and we were happy to deliver on our promise.
