The Early Bird Gets the Worm
As you might imagine, Wix Filters Corporation in Gastonia, North Carolina makes filters for all kinds of machinery. The company was founded in Gastonia in the 1930’s and is now considered a global company with manufacturing locations on four continents, including North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Robert Black at the Gastonia manufacturing plant desperately needed a motor to keep the plant running. The motor was scheduled to be ready by 6pm, but was actually finished a little early at 5:30pm. Piedmont Delivery Service was there waiting and was able to rush the motor directly to Gastonia. As the old saying goes “the early bird gets the worm” and we were happy to make our delivery ahead of schedule and help out our friends at Wix Filters Corporation. Same day delivery is just another example of the Piedmont Difference.
