The Piedmont Difference
It was just in the past couple of months, TreeHouse Foods purchased ConAgra Foods private brands operations. TreeHouse Foods provides private label food and beverages to retail grocery stores. This acquisition included ConAgra’s facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Robert Knotts, who works at the Columbia facility, called Piedmont Delivery Service needing some shelving for its machine shop, which ultimately would be used in the plant. Everyone at the plant was on hold until it could be delivered. Our rush delivery meant several workers didn’t have to work as late on Good Friday. We are always glad to be of service because it is the Piedmont Difference!
