Martin Marietta is a leading supplier of aggregates and heavy building materials in 26 states, Canada, the Bahamas and the Caribbean Islands. With its corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, its expanded its footprint across the Carolinas, including a limestone quarry in Jamestown, South Carolina. Mike Welch, at the Jamestown facility, called us needing some help on the weekend. He desperately needed gaskets from Crossville, Tennessee. We made a rush delivery, picking up the gaskets at 5:00pm and dropping them off at the Jamestown plant at 2:00am, so they would be there first thing Sunday morning to be installed at 6:00am. Not a problem for Piedmont Delivery Service. We call it the Piedmont Difference!
