Timing is Everything

It’s been said “it’s only when they go wrong that machines remind you how powerful they are”…. Well, that was the case with one of our customers recently in Brunswick, Georgia. Stuart McIntosh with Georgia-Pacific Corporation called Piedmont Delivery Service, needing a heavy gear picked up on Saturday at noon. The timing was crucial, as it was coordinated with the rented crane that arrived earlier that day. The crane successfully lowered the gear unit seven stories to the ground where a forklift, placed it gingerly in our transport van, specifically designed for heavy loads. Safe and sound, we delivered the crane to Jeremy Hughes at Santasalo in Greer for a rush rebuild. I guess you can say “timing is everything” here at Piedmont Delivery Service and we’re happy to help you when we can.
