Late Friday Afternoon

There is never a good time to have a problem with your equipment, but late Friday afternoon is probably the worst. Getting someone on the phone is next to impossible, many have already left for the week, and then there is the weekend… where finding someone to help you…. Well… you know the drill.

At Piedmont Delivery Service, our staff and professional drivers are ready to help you 24/7…. Even late Friday afternoon. Just ask Gene Lott with Kimberly-Clark in Beech Island, South Carolina. Kimberly-Clark is an international company probably best known for its multitude of paper products, such as Kleenex, Scott, Huggies… just to name a few. The problem was that the Beech Island manufacturing facility needed a wire rope assembly and we got the call late Friday afternoon. Our driver was able to pick up the part in Duncan, South Carolina and make it through rush hour traffic to Kimberly-Clark by 7:40pm Friday night. Gene Lott was kind to reply - “Great job - thanks for getting it here so quickly.”
