BlueScope Buildings North America is a manufacturer of metal and pre-engineered commercial building materials. It’s a subsidiary of Australia-based BlueScope Steel Ltd.

Within the past couple of years, BlueScope has expanded its manufacturing facility in Laurinburg, North Carolina. It’s there where they specialize in making building systems of commercial construction, such as for aircraft hangars, warehouse and distribution centers, and office and retail buildings.

Unfortunately, workers at the North Carolina plant were sent home, and the entire plant was in a holding pattern until the replacement of a small part. That pivotal part was located in Duncan, South Carolina and our driver at Piedmont Delivery System rushed the part to Gibby Peele at BlueScope. Now the plant is up and running and employees are back to work. Glad Piedmont Delivery Service could lend a helping hand.
