Memorial Day Road Trip

The summer vacation travel season is here. It officially kicked off during the long Memorial Day weekend, where an estimated 43 million Americans enjoyed a trip during the holiday weekend. Some 37.6 million or so traveled the traditional way by car, breaking records from year’s past. Piedmont Delivery Service was on the road too, and safely made it through several states to Glasgow, Kentucky. Jimmy Crumpter with Scotty’s Contracting & Stone needed a large motor. So we packed it up, using our large state-of-the-art transport van and hit the road. Scotty’s Contracting & Stone has been serving Kentucky for more than 40 years, with 14 asphalt plants and two quarries. With more than 70 million dollars in equipment throughout the state of Kentucky, it was important to get this large motor to them. They were thrilled to see us and we were happy to help. Safe travels to all of you during this busy summer travel season.
