Bliss in Every Bite

With spring officially in the air, celebrations are in order in many cultures. Throwing coins for good luck, visiting your childhood home, or preparing for the spring holidays such as Easter or Earth Day-there’s no wrong way to usher in spring. Celebrations usually include some type of food, and Poppies is a sweet treat sure to please. From Belgian chocolate macaroon cookies to custard eclairs, the frozen desserts are a specialty of master baker Popelier, dating back to the 1930s in Belgium. Today, they are making their signature Poppies brand in Battleboro, North Carolina. That’s where Charles Tooley needed a large pallet of miscellaneous parts, and Piedmont Delivery Service was his go-to for the same-day delivery. Our driver pulled up to Poppies at 8:00 p.m. We have even more reason to celebrate some fresh air and sunshine. Happy Spring!
