This has been a tough year for staying well. From the flu, RSV, and Covid, acute respiratory illnesses are still going strong. Here’s something you may not know: the VapoRub we grab from the medicine cabinet to help with our symptoms was discovered by a pharmacist with ties to Proctor & Gamble. That was in 1894. Since then, the researchers at P&G have developed items most likely in your home, from Pampers to the dryer softener Bounce to food wrap that whitens our teeth, now called Crest Whitestrips. P&G has been creating home-friendly products for more than 185 years. Recently, the manufacturing plant in Lima, Ohio, needed parts on a Monday. This is one of P&G’s largest manufacturing plants and the only one to produce Gain and Downey Unstoppables. Never too late or early for a delivery, Piedmont Delivery Service arrived at the plant at 4:00 a.m. We know Mark Wood was happy to see us, and we are happy to help.
