Chillin’ in South Carolina

In Walterboro, South Carolina, if you need medical care, you head to the Colleton Medical Center. The full service hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient medical services, as well as 24/7 emergency care for adults and children. With 135 beds, the hospital stays busy. The week of the 4th was a scorcher across the country, with the heat index in the Lowcountry registering more than 100 degrees. Michelle Davis needed the help of Piedmont Delivery Service desperately on July 3rd, as parts of the hospital’s air conditioning system needed replacing to keep the facility and its patients cool. Our driver was dispatched to Greenwood and West Columbia, South Carolina to pick up the much needed parts and take them to Walterboro. Not a problem, our driver arrived at 9:00pm to make sure the AC was back up and running. We call that The Piedmont Difference!
