Where would we be without our farmers? A lot is taken for granted when you must depend on mother nature to give you what you need to maintain your farm. What started as the Shenandoah Valley Organic many years ago, has now evolved into Farmer Focus. These farmers are raising chickens and trying to raise the bar by raising them right. It was the dream of Corwin Heatwole and he’s watching his family and fellow farmers continue to grow. Putting farmers first is a business model that appears to be working and when Nelson Recomaker reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service needing a motor on a Thursday night, we didn’t hesitate and arrived in Harrisonburg, Virginia at 8:50pm. Happy to help improve generational family farming, one day at a time.
