If you are familiar with the construction business, you’ve most likely heard of Yellawood, which is a type of pressure-treated pine. For years, the Yellawood brand of products has been identified by a distinctive yellow tag and is known by builders and architects for quality and dependability. The company that makes Yellawood is Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. The company was founded in 1970 in Abbeville, Alabama. Today, they boast 37 distribution centers in 28 states, the District of Columbia, as well as the Caribbean, Latin America, part of the European Union, and China. It was at their lumber treating plant in Jesup, Georgia, where Brian Comer needed some parts on a Tuesday. With our promise of same-day delivery, Piedmont Delivery Service pulled up to the manufacturing facility at 9:21 p.m. Like Great Southern Wood Preserving, we believe in getting the job done right. We call it The Piedmont Difference!
