Jambalaya

Jambalaya is made up of rice, vegetables, pork, chicken, spices, and there you have it. It’s considered the flagship rice variety for a company with a rooted Louisiana history dating back to the 1800’s. That would be Zatarain. If you have ever cooked any type of seafood, my bet is you’ve used their products. Emile Zatarain, Senior, actually started the business as a grocery store and then created a formulation for root beer. The rest they say is history. In 2015, a 26 million dollar plant was built in Gretna, Louisiana, and that’s where Keshun Mattire reached out to Piedmont Delivery Service, needing some parts. By 5:00 p.m. the same day, Piedmont Delivery Service was on site, delivering the much-needed parts. As they say in New Orleans, “let the good times roll.”
