Preparing for the Storm

As the South braces for Hurricane Helene, Piedmont Delivery Service is busy on our southern roadways delivering much-needed parts. Jimmy Smith with the Tennessee Valley Authority Browns Ferry plant near Athens, Alabama, needed parts delivered Monday, and Piedmont Delivery Service was ready and able to get them there with our same-day delivery service on Monday afternoon. The TVA operates three nuclear plants capable of generating an average of 8,275 megawatts of electricity each day, one of which is the Browns Ferry facility near Athens, Alabama. As we hunker down for the storm and its ferocious tides and winds, we appreciate all who are helping keep us safe over the next few days.
