Sunday After Thanksgiving

Historically, the busiest day of the year to travel falls on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. And this year was no exception. In fact, record-breaking numbers were posted, with the millions of people driving and flying home the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Piedmont Delivery Service joined drivers on the busy highways Sunday afternoon when Teresa McCollum called from Dal-Tile needing some parts. Dal-Tile is considered the largest ceramic manufacturer in the world and proudly boasts that many of its collections are designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA. A distribution center in Fayette, Alabama, was our destination, and our driver arrived at 11:43 p.m., thankfully with no major delays.
