The Holiday Rush

In case you didn’t notice, the holiday rush is on! Piedmont Delivery Service is just as busy as ‘ole Saint Nick, with deliveries from the Carolinas to Ohio to Florida to Mississippi, just in the past week. Since Piedmont Delivery Service handles large and heavy loads, many of our customers have needed the delivery of large motors. Take, for example, Wilford Holliman with HII Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This impressive company builds ships, notably the majority of the U.S. Navy fleet. It’s a global, all-domain defense provider with more than 44,000 employees in Virginia and Mississippi. Holliman needed a large motor at its Mississippi plant on a Friday night, and Piedmont Delivery Service pulled up at 8:00 p.m. Central time.
