In 1950, a Georgia Tech grad by the name of Roy Richards Sr. founded Southwire and today it's become one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wire and cable. With more than 7,000 employees, the company has far-reaching customers across the globe. Innovation is a part of the family owned business and Southwire is nearing completion of a new state-of-the-art rod plant in Carrollton, Georgia. It’s here at the company’s north campus where they needed the help of Piedmont Delivery Service. Nathan Kelley needed a small part and our driver picked up the part within 30 minutes and arrived in Carrollton at 9:00pm.
